Director R V Udayakumar who gave many hit films in Tamil such as Ejaman with Rajini and Chinna Koundar with Vijaykanth is directing the movie Karka Kasadara with Diya and Vikranth as the lead pair. Diya who was without any films after kurumbu, has well improved her career currently. She is now acting in the film Kartha with Parthiban and Kodambakkam with Nanda. She is also acting in the Malayalam film Minnal. Diya who is a brand ambassador for a popular beverage company, also owns a pent house in a 39 storey building in Malaysia. She has had an idea of producing her own film, but has postponed it for the time being.
