Novelist Balakumaran is unconventional in every sense. His Mercuryppookkal was a trendsetter in the Tamil literary world. His swathe of writing has covered every complexity of human life. He has penned hard-hitting stories about the hypocrisies of our society. He has also tried at writing for films. He has written the dialogues for the forthcoming Dhanush film, Puduppettai. Puduppettai is directed by Dhanush’s big brother, Selvaraghavan, who is keen to repeat the success of Kadhal Kondein and 7/G, Rainbow Colony. The team of technicians is the same in this film as well. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music and Arvind Krishna is in charge of cinematography.
