COURIER BOY KALYAN SONGS REVIEW

A trendy solo sung by the composer himself takes a detour with modern jazz and hip hop feel with great vigor and perfection. The song has a great optimistic feel associated with it because of the fun filled tune and feisty trumpets usage. Karthik scores an instant winner with this feel good number! One can hear a faint Indian classical touch in the tune while the track progresses. Lyrics by Shrestha are feel good and sweet sounding.

The breeziness is sustained with a relaxing Reggae styled number sung brilliantly by Karthik once again. This track attempts to give an alternative rock experience to the listener topped with Indian melody. Ananth Sriram, who is a regular for Gautham Menon’s Telugu movies does a commendable job for this track as well.

The album shifts gears to a groovy party number sung by an unlikely combination of singers – thumping voice of Baba Seghal and melodious voice of Karthik! The fusion attempt between electric guitars and amazing trance style is indeed a great experiment. The electronic riffs were presented with great ease without getting compromised in the lyrical clarity.

A funky number paves the way for a celebrating finale sung exceptionally well by Anup Rubens and Suchitra. Once again the funky combo of Anup Rubens lending his voice for hero Nitin clicks great. There is a strange fusion between Spanish rumba, Telugu folk and modern sounding. Once again, the lyrics score equally as good as the song’s presentation!
