What happens when two people who are known for family entertainers collaborate for a film? Kishore Tirumala teams up with Sharwanand for Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu. Though Sharwanand tries his hand at different genres, he is in his elements when it comes to family films. So, this one is right up his alley.

The plot is simple - A family's search for a bride and the conflicts that come with it. Akhil's Most Eligible Bachelor too had similar beats but Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu differs in it's treatment. Kishore sticks to his tried and tested success formula of humour and emotions and makes it work.

The first major plus is the presence of three veteran actresses Raadhika Sarathkumar, Urvashi and Kushboo. Raadhika and Urvashi steal our hearts as adorable family members. Kushboo lures us with her commanding screen presence. A role similar to Thalapathy Vijay's Minsara Kanna minus the rigidity.

Sharwanand chips in with a neat performance. He is hilarious and likeable at the same time, Rashmika is the eye candy and looks gorgeous. Kudos to the costume designer.

Seeing Brahmanandam on screen is an absolute joy. As always, he is a riot on screen. Vennila Kishore, Satya and Pradeep Rawat tickle your funny bones in a few places. The humour works in parts.

However, the film dips a little when it comes to emotions mostly because there are a lot of cliche tear inducing moments. But the film's finale more than makes up for it.

Devi Sri Prasad's music is decent. Oh, my Aadhya is the pick of the album. The film looks stunning with great production values.

Though Aadavallu isn't as deep as Kishore's previous films it still holds your attention thanks to the ensemble casting. It is a very clean film without any awkward moments. That's a major plus. Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu isn't a perfect film. But if you are looking for a decent family outing this could be your pick.
