It has become official now!!! Yes, the producer of Vijay 61, N.Ramasamy of Sri Thenandal Films has announced exciting details about this huge project. This yet to be titled film turns out to be the hundredth venture for this prestigious banner.

As reported by us earlier, Jyothika, Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal have been roped in to play the female leads. Apart from this, Vadivelu, S.J.Suryah, Sathyaraj and Sathyan are also part of this star cast. After many speculations, it has now become official that the Mozart of Madras A.R.Rahman will compose the songs and background score for this film.

Debutant G.K.Vishnu, Ruben, Anl Arasu, and Muthuraj will take care of the cinematography, editing, stunt and art direction departments respectively. Legendary writer K.Vijayendra Prasad has written the screenplay for the film, which has the story, dialogues, and direction by Atlee.

The film will go on floors from tomorrow (February 1) in Chennai, after which the team has planned to shoot in places like Punjab, the United States, and Europe.
