Ajith’s AK57 movie directed by Siruthai Siva had rumours doing the rounds that it had 2 successive films on the same line and that the sequels Ak58 and AK59 would also be directed by Siruthai Siva. There were a lot of memes that were created regarding this news and people still have a confusion about the course of this project.

We at Behindwoods asked our close sources about this. It has been clarified that these are supposed to be baseless rumours and the idea of a sequel is false news. AK57 is just one film and has Ajith playing an Interpol agent who battles terrorism across the world.

Also, apart from worldwide terrorism theme, the film is apparently supposed to have a subplot that deals with how Ajith tries to save his kidnapped wife played by Kajal Agarwal. This huge project has music composed by Anirudh who also scored for the previous collaboration of Siruthai Siva and Ajith (Vedhalam). It is touted to be on the lines of a stylish Hollywood style movie shot abroad.
