MADRAS
Madras: One of the few mainstream films to have looked at caste, Madras catapulted director Pa Ranjith to super stardom. Santhosh Narayanan's haunting score gives life to the eerie wall (a significant plot-point of the film), whilst capturing the energetic vibe of North Madras with aplomb.
