TAMIL MOVIE RELEASE EXPECTATION

What can be a better launch pad than a movie that is produced by AR Murugadoss, Fox Star Studios and The Next Big Film, starring Arya, Nayan, Jai, Nazriya and Satyaraj and scored by GV Prakash for a first-time director? Director Atlee, who comes from the Shankar stable, has everything going for his first movie Raja Rani. In case you need more motivation, this is what he has to say about why you should watch the movie.

• The movie is high on emotions, says Atlee, adding that it is a clean family entertainer (demonstrated by the U certificate) and has a lot of emotions that people can relate to very easily.
   
• Dialogue is the backbone of any movie, more so for a comedy. That being said, Atlee assures that Raja Rani has “simple dialogues that people will love and the wordplay involved when intense things are said in different ways.”
   
• “Other than the chemistry shared by Arya and Nayan, everyone in the film has put in spectacular performances - from Sathyaraj to Santhanam, every role is very important and has a lot of scope according to Atlee.”
   
• One of the main highlights of the movie remains GV Prakash’s music. Atlee says, “Beautiful music - all songs shot as montages. Prakash confessed that this is his best work till date, as far as background scores are concerned and I completely agree with him.”
   
• “The brilliant visuals captured by cinematographer George C Williams is another welcome addition to the film. Visual looks fresh and colorful and we took time to compose every frame with utmost perfection.”
   
• Atlee also confesses that the movie has inspirations from his life. “Be it the Arya, Nayan, Nazriya, Jai or Sathyaraj, every character in the film has a part of me in it.”
