EXPECTATION METER

Vaigaipuyal is set to strike us again after Tenaliraman! This time, Vadivelu dons the role of a spy in Eli, which will release on the 19th of June.
 

The film boasts of a vibrant 1960s Chennai setup, with Sadha also featuring in a very attractive character.
 

Highlights are many in Eli, with Vadivelu playing the lead. His style of performance comedy isn’t seen much lately. With Eli, that thirst of the fans for Vadivelu magic is expected to be quenched.
 

Also, we have been hinted to watch out for Vadivelu’s version of the celebrated Hindi song,  ‘Mere Sapno Ki Rani’.
 

Madras Tamil isn’t a task for Vadivelu. Contrastingly it’s as easy as an old shoe for the Vaigaipuyal. In Eli, he has apparently exploited the Madras Tamil of the early 60’s.
 

We wish director Yuvaraj Dhayalan, Vadivelu and the rest of the team a grand success.
