GV PRAKASH AND JALLIKATTU

Pongal is round the corner and Jallikattu which is very characteristic of Tamil Nadu has been caught in the crossfire for a long time as PETA activists and the Supreme Court are not in favor of this sport. 

However, there is widespread support for this traditional game among the people and also film fraternity.

Music composer turned actor GV Prakash is planning to extend his encouragement to Jallikattu through a song. He elaborates, “I am composing music and Arunraja Kamaraj will be rapping for a number Kombu Vecha Singam Da in support of Jallikattu. We are planning to release this song on the Pongal day and we will be giving the proceeds of this to troubled farmers in Tamil Nadu”.

This is indeed a praiseworthy act and we wish GV Prakash and Arunraja Kamaraj the best!
