SAD: VETERAN ACTOR Y GEE MAHENDRAN’S MOTHER PASSES AWAY!

Mother of Y.Gee Mahendra, Rajalakshmi Parthasarathy passed away today due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 93. She was an Indian journalist, educationist and social worker. She was also the founder and dean of the P. S. B. B. Group of Institutions.
Wife of playwright Y.Gee. Parthasarathy, Rajalakshmi was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civil honour for her contribution to literature and education on 26 January 2010. Her mortal remains will be kept for public homage at the Padmaseshadri School/Bharat Kalachar in T.Nagar and the cremation will be held tomorrow the 7th of August at 4 pm.
