Days after Businessman Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police for making pornographic content and and publishing it through mobile apps, Actress and Model Poonam Pandey said that getting into a professional collaboration with them was the biggest mistake that she made in her life.

Poonam Pandey had filed a case against Raj Kundra at the Bombay High Court in 2019 for illegally using content featuring her. Since then she has been involved in a legal battle with him. She had accused Raj Kundra and his associates of fraud, theft and leaking her phone numbers.

Stating that they are "frauds", Poonam revealed that she went through trauma and her life became an open book. When she reached out to Raj's team, she was told that she wouldn't be paid until she signs a contract with them and started working again with them.

Poonam Pandey mentioned that she was also approached by another app. She noted that it was "100 per cent pure blackmail" and that when she refused to be a part, her private numbers were leaked on the app.
