When this celeb's mom thought Akshay Kumar was gay - a funny throwback

Akshay Kumar's happy marriage with Twinkle Khanna after being engaged with her twice happened in 2001. Twinkle Khanna or Tina Jatin Khanna, was a former actress too, but currently she is a well-known author, newspaper columnist, interior designer, film producer. She is the daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia.

In a funny throwback, Twinkle had disclosed how Dimple Kapadia thought Akshay was gay. Twinkle's friend had apparently told Dimple that Akshay was gay, and hence, Dimple didn't allow Twinkle to marry Akshay, and had apparently asked them to stay together for a year post which they got married. Mrs. Akshay Kumar had disclosed this on an episode in a popular TV show long back.
