He went to do films such as 'Katradhu Tamizh' (2007), Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009), Ko (2011), Nanban (2012), Neethaane En Ponvasantham (2012) and Endrendrum Punnagai (2013).

Jiiva, who's known to wear his heart on his sleeves was seen laughing out loud in a picture that he shared on social media. The image seems to have been clicked at one of his film shoots. Actress Manjima Mohan, who responded to his picture in the comments section, said, "I am still going to say the same thing I told minutes before!!! Mosquito joke." When Jiiva replied, "I guess u should have said it here too," Manjima shot back and said, "ayyoooo no need!!!!" with a laughing emoji.

Actor Jiiva will be seen next in the upcoming movie, 'Methavi'. He will also make his debut in the Bollywood movie industry with the upcoming movie '83' where he will be seen portraying the role of Krishnamachari Srikkanth. The cast of 83 also includes Ranveer Singh, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Deepika Padukone and others.
