The title is a reference to Vadivelu’s character from their previous film together, 'Thalai Nagaram', starring Sundar C in the lead released in 2006. His viral statement created a huge flutter on social media and fans are already waiting for his return to big screens.
Although Vadivelu's red card was withdrawn after the 'Imsai Arasan 24aam Pulikesi' issue and the makers having finalised his upcoming movie, it looks like there is still trouble left to be unresolved for the ace-evergreen comedian.
The title of the movie 'Naai Sekar' was with KE Gnanavelraja of Studio Green productions and Actor-Comedian Sathish was set to act in AGS Productions' movie in the same title where 'Cooku with Comali' fame Pavithra Lakshmi was supposed to play a pivotal role. It is to be noted that Director Kishore approached AGS Productions with this title.
The makers of the movie had already registered the title for this movie with Sathish, but since Vadivelu had already acted in a movie where his role was 'Naai Sekar' and gained prominence over the years with many reprising the character and carrying his jokes, Vadivelu looks to hold the title with him in his upcoming movie. It remains to be seen as to whom this title will go to. Stay tuned!
