WHAT IS THE REASON FOR THIS SUDDEN CHANGE IN BIGG BOSS TAMIL 5? HERE'S WHAT WE KNOW!

The fifth edition of Bigg Boss Tamil will premiere on Vijay Television on October 3. Kamal Haasan will return to the show as host for the fifth consecutive time. The grand premiere will start 6 pm and go on till late night on October 3. The final list of contestants will be introduced with several on-stage performances.

Ahead of the launch date, speculations are rife about a possible telecast time change in Bigg Boss Tamil 5 on Vijay TV and there are many discussions around the same on social media. Earlier we have seen the show air from 9-10pm and also 9.30-10.30pm with a re-telecast of the episode releasing the next day morning. It now looks like the makers have opted for a 10.-11pm telecast of the show on weekdays and 9.30-11 pm on weekends.

Although the reasons are unclear, fans are doubting that the decision might have been taken to avoid a possible clash with another show - Survivor. The adventure reality show is hosted by Action King Arjun and airs from 9.30-10.30 pm everyday  on Zee Tamil. An official announcement on the show timings for Bigg Boss Tamil 5 is awaited from the makers.

The expected list of contestants set to enter the show include Cooku With Comali Kani, Sunitha, Mila (actress Shakeela’s daughter), Anchor Priyanka Deshpande, 'Thulluvadho Ilamai' fame Abhinay, Vadivukkarasi, Aishwarya, '90 ML' fame Masoom Shankar, Suzane George of Vijay TV 'Office' fame, 'Kanmani' serial fame Leesha Eclairs, 'Thulluvadho Ilamai' fame Abhinay, Actress Bhanupriya, 'Boys' Actor Manikandan, Actor Krishna of 'Kazhugu', Bayilvan Ranganathan and 'Myna' Nandhini.
