On December 14, her husband Hemnath Ravi, whom she had married in a civil ceremony about two months prior to her demise, was arrested for abetment to suicide.
Now, the promos of her last television appearances are coming out and making people more emotional than ever.

Chitra was popular for her role of Mullai in the hit television serial, Pandian Stores and was just 28 at the time of her demise. Soon after her death, her friends and family members had raised suspicions of foul play. An RDO investigation is also currently underway as it is in the case of women being married under seven years and found dead in suspicious/mysterious circumstances.
