Today, October 12th marks the 50th day of Vivegam, starring Thala Ajith and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. This film was directed by Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Movies.
Despite mixed reviews, Vivegam is among the highest grossers of all-times at the Chennai city box office. Thanks to Thala Ajith's star power. The film collected around 10 crores by the end of its run in Chennai city alone. Even now Vivegam has 6 shows in Chennai city.

Ajith’s Vivegam directed by Siruthai Siva released on 24th August 2017 and has completed 5 weekends in Chennai city. According to Behindwoods’ box-office report, Vivegam has had 18 shows over its weekend and has collected Rs.2,12,124.
As for the weekdays, it has had a total of 60 shows and according to the Behindwoods’ box-office report, it has collected Rs.5,60,672 approximately. Over the entire week it has managed to collect around Rs. 7.7 lakhs in total and has managed to hang on even after it’s 5th-weekend thanks to Ajith’s stardom and dedication.
