The movie's shooting, which was going on in brisk pace, was wrapped up a few days back. The team was in Russia to shoot some crucial action sequences for the film.  Line Producer Sarfaraz Alam’s Kartina Entertainment managed the on ground production and crew for the movie along with Stunt Director Sergei Golovkin.

While the release date hasn't been confirmed and the rest of the songs apart from 'Naanga Vera Maari' haven't been released yet, fans are eagerly awaiting any deets about 'Valimai'. Now, some important behind-the-scenes images from the action flick has been doing rounds on social media and are being shared my many. The images feature the filming of important action sequences with the stuntmen held by multiple wires which were suspended by cranes.

'Valimai' marks the actor-director duo's second project under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner post the 2019 courtroom drama 'Nerkonda Paarvai', the Tamil remake of the hit movie 'Pink' starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. 'Valimai' stars Huma Qureshi, Pearle Maaney, Yogi Babu and Kartikeya Gummakonda. The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja while the camera is cranked by DOP Nirav Shah. The editing is by Vijay Velukutty with stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan.
