SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT - VIKRAM’S NEXT TO BE DIRECTED BY SIMBU’S DIRECTOR

There were many speculations on who would be directing Vikram’s next film after Iru Mugan. Some said he will be teaming up with Dharani while some reported it would be Anand Shankar. Even names like Socrates and Arun Kumar were also in contention to direct Vikram’s next. But, look who has got this golden opportunity to direct Chiyaan!

It would be Vijay Chander, the director who made Vaalu with Simbu. No one saw this coming but it looks like Vikram liked the script that Vijay narrated to him. The film will be funded by SFF productions and will soon go on floors. Other cast and technicians will be announced shortly.

When we spoke to Vijay Chander about this, he was shocked that the news was out and told us that it would be a mass commercial entertainer.
