VIKRAM'S COBRA DIRECTOR BREAKS SILENCE ON FILM'S BUDGET CONTROVERSY "IT WAS NOT INTENTIONAL..."!

On the work front, he has a number of biggies lined up and Ajay Gnanamuthu’s Cobra is one amongst them. The team completed filming on Tuesday which nearly took 3 years. The pics from the same did heavy rounds in the social media.

Sharing the pictures, Ajay wrote, “IT’S A WRAP!! Close to 3 years of filming comes to an end!! My sincere thanks to #ChiyaanVikram sir and my entire team who trusted me, sailed through all the struggles and difficult times with me and believed in the vision of #Cobra! Forever indebted to each one of u!” However this did not go well with reputed Tamil film producer T. Siva of Amma Creations who asked the director to extend his gratitude to producer Lalit Kumar as well for staying by his side during this three-year period for the delay in completing the shooting.

Responding to this, Ajay tweeted, “With due respect sir!! I can prove that I’m not the reason for budget over shoot of cobra whenever and wherever I’m asked to!! Proofs will speak louder and clearer than rumours!! And by “team” it also includes my producer. I’m always not letting him down! Cheers sir!”

Producer Siva replied, “@7screenstudio tk u ajay for ur reply. Whatever may be d rumours it can be discussed n Short out.Since u mentioned tks to chiyaan vikram u should mention producer name also. Hope u understand, accept n do it. Tk u all d best!”

On the ending note, Ajay stated, “It was not intentional sir!! I always hold my production and producer in high regards.. Always!!”
