Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film features music by AR Rahman, while the camera is handled by G.K Vishnu. With Thalapathy heads geared up to set the screens on fire this Diwali during Bigil, Vijay is all set for his next project 'Thalapathy64' (Tentative title).

This upcoming film will be directed by Lokesh Kanagraj, who's Kaithi with Karthi is also releasing this Diwali. Thalapathy64 will be produced by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators and will feature music by Anirudh Ravichander for Vijay after Kaththi.
