Alya Manasa is one of the most beloved actresses in Tamil Nadu - she garnered a lot fo fame and attention for her serial Raja Rani on Vijay TV. The actress plays the lead heroine character Sandhya in the serial.

Directed by Praveen Bennett, the serial features Alya and Siddhu of Thirumanam serial fame. The main crux of the serial is thus: The hero Saravanan apparently has a sweets shop apparently, and is quite excited about meeting his future wife, and his mother just wants him to marry a plain girl, who apparently should take up the role of a homemaker through and through.

However, the family gets duped by Sandhya's brother who plays up Sandhya as an unambitious normal girl, whereas Sandhya has always been determined to make it as an IPS officer. Now as the story progresses with Sandhya struggling to meet the expectations of her mother-in-law, Alya Manasa has been sharing a surprising update for a few days now.
