The Tamil romantic drama 96 was unanimously praised by audiences for its mature treatment of post-breakup sentiment, the ensemble performances and the chartbusting music by violinist Govind Vasantha. Directed by C. Prem Kumar, the film starred Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Bagavathy Perumal and others.
The film was remade in Kannada as 99, with Ganesh and Bhavana as leads. The film is also getting remade in Telugu, with Sharwanand and Samantha playing the protagonists. Titled Jaanu, the adaptation is also helmed by C. Prem Kumar.
Recently, the Telugu version of the 'Life of Ram' song was recently out, and the melodious number, crooned by Pradeep Kumar, tells the freewheeling nature of Ram, a travel photographer. The film is all set to release on February 7.
