Makkal Selvan, Vijay Sethupathi is currently waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Sindhubaadh that has Anjali as the female lead. The film also features the actor’s son, Surya Sethupathi who will be seen playing the role of a petty thief and Vijay Sethuapthi’s side-kick. Directed by S. U. Arun Kumar, the film is slated to hit the screens on June 21.
The actor is also simultaneously involved in more than 10 exciting projects. He is not only marking his debut in Malayalam with Marconi Mathai starring Jayaram and Athmiya but also in Telugu with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy that has an ensemble cast which includes Chiranjeevi, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Nayanthara, Tamannaah and Amitabh Bachchan apart from the actor.
The actor has next signed in another Telugu movie, Uppena that will feature debutant Pancha Vaisshnav Dev (Chiranjeevi's nephew) and Keerthy Shetty in lead roles. According to our sources, the actor is all set to play an important role in the film.
It has been revealed that Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing heroine Keerthy Shetty's father in the movie. The movie is a romantic story with the hero playing a fisherman, and Vijay Sethupathi in the negative role. It will be interesting to watch the actor donning this new avatar for his next!
