VIJAY'S REACTION TO TAKING OFF HIS MUSTACHE; LOKESH KANAGARAJ REVEALS IN EXCLUSIVE!

Lokesh said that they wanted Vijay to have a different look and he sportingly shaved off his mustache and all his reaction was, “Enna sirikara, all looking good?..” with a sarcastic doubt before doing the needful.

This would be the first time Lokesh is attempting romantic portions in the film and he said that it won’t be an out and out romantic portion but would just travel along with the story. This would also be the first time he is having songs in a film and said they would be rooted rather than being short in foreign locales.

He said the main challenge in the film was to have a villain who would match the character of Thalapathy. He also let it slip that Vijay wanted him to make a film like how he had envisaged and didn’t want any changes suited for him.

Lokesh also said that Vijay hugged him post catching a screening of Kaithi. The director also narrated an incident when Thalapathy accompanied them for a walk in Delhi. “We thought he wouldn’t come. Initially, he wasn’t even wearing a mask. Then, we felt people would recognise him and urged him to wear one. It was just a short walk but nevertheless maybe something he had done after a long time.”
