It's been over five months since theatres had been closed down on account of the current pandemic that the world has been grappling with. While a lot of restrictions have been cleared, there is no news on theatres reopening, as yet.
Due to the same, in the recent past, we have seen a lot of films heading straight to OTT. Soorarai Pottru, Suriya's big-budgeted venture is also headed that way.
In the same breath, it was reported that Master in which Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi join hands and is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, would come to OTT as well. However, the same has been found untrue with Master coming to theatres first.
The movie was scheduled to release this summer until COVID-19 played spoilsport. Master also stars Malavika Mohanan, Shanthnu, Arjun Das and Andrea in crucial roles with music by Anirudh.
