VIJAY ANTONY WITHDRAWS THE TEASER

A few days ago, the teaser of Vijay Antony’s Saithan had been released. The background of the same had Vedic chants from the Taittiriya Upanishad. A few lines in this segment had apparently sounded different and hence hurt Vedic scholars who had expressed their displeasure on this.

In response to this, Vijay Antony had announced in his Twitter page that he is withdrawing those lines. He stated, “I heard that a few lines in the teaser of Saithan, which were written by the late lyricist Annamalai, had sounded like Sanskrit verses and had hurt a few individuals.  

Heeding to their request, I have decided to withdraw those lines immediately. As a result of this, you will not find the teaser of Saithan in my Facebook, YouTube or Twitter page. I will add fresh lines and release the teaser tomorrow (5th October) at 7 PM".
