Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsSurvivor Tamil, the internationally popular reality show, hosted by Action King Arjun premiered on Zee Tamil on September 12 amid much anticipation. The adventure-based show will see actors - Vijayalakshmi, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Vikranth, Nandaa, Gayathri Reddy, Srushti Dange, Umapathy Ramaiah, Besant Ravi, Parvathy and many others - fighting for their survival as the title suggests in a forest in Africa with minimal resources.
The 16 contestants, which has a mix of actors, sportspersons, singers, and fitness enthusiasts, have to survive on the island for 90 days and the sole winner will take home a cash prize of Rs 1 crore. The contestants who were split into teams of two namely - Kadargal and Vedargal - have been given tasks to test their mental and physical strength over the next three months. Like Bigg Boss Tamil, this show will too have eliminations.
According to various talks going on social media, it looks like Indraja Sankar, daughter of Robo Sankar will be the first contestant to be eliminated in the upcoming days. Indraja's team also hinted about the same by sharing a post by a fan page on her Instagram story. However, no official information has been out yet and it remains to be seen if she will be eliminated in the upcoming episodes.
Survivor airs on Zee Tamil everyday at 9.30 pm and will also be streamed on OTT platform Zee 5 the following day.
