BREAKING: VETRI MAARAN DOES THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS NEXT DIRECTORIAL PROJECT!

The yet-to-be titled project is produced by Elred Kumar under the banner RS Infotainment. Now, an exciting development about the film is that the makers have finished scouting for locations in various places across Muscat and Oman.

The 'Visaranai' director, in an interview to Behindwoods, said that he chose Soori as the actor's on-screen persona compliments the naivety of the character. It must be noted that this will be the first time in Vetri Maaran's career where a major part of his film is set in a foreign location.

On the work front, Vetri Maaran will also be helming a short film for a Netflix original anthology along with fellow directors Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sudha Kongara and Vignesh Shivan. After completing the Soori project, Vetri Maaran will also directing Suriya and the project will be bankrolled by V Creations.
