Vetrimaaran – Soori’s film’s shoot took off yesterday in Sathyamangalam. Sources say GV Prakash’s sister Bhavani Sre, who impressed us with her performances in Ka Pe Ranasingam and the recently released Paavakadhaigal has been roped in to play the female lead though an official announcement is yet to come by.
The film is based on a poem written by late lyricist Na Muthukumar. The yet-to-be titled project is produced by Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Film Company.
The 'Visaranai' director, in an interview to Behindwoods, said that he chose Soori as the actor's on-screen persona complements the naivety of the character.
After completing the Soori project, Vetrimaaran will be directing Suriya in Vaadivaasal and the project will be bankrolled by V Creations Kalaipuli S Thaanu.
