The veteran actor was part of more than 25 hit Malayalam films. He played crucial characters in films like Viruthan Shanku, Kaattukurangu, Padicha Kallan, Vilakuranja Manushyar to name a few and shot to fame as a singer in the year 2009.

For the unversed, he was the father of Malayalam actor Mohan Jose and film director K. G. George is his son-in-law. The veteran singer’s song Entadukke Vannadukkum from the film Marykkundoru Kunjaadu became a huge hit among the audience.
