VENKAT PRABHU DONS THE COP AVATAR

Director Venkat Prabhu, who is known for his fun-filled entertaining films, does act in movies occasionally. He was seen in movies like Saravana Rajan’s Vadacurry and in special cameo roles in some other films.

The latest is that he is said to be playing a cop for the first time in director Murali Karthik’s movie titled Kalavu. This movie stars Kalaiyarasan, Karunakaran and Abirami in lead roles produced by I. B. Karthikeyan and Dhiliban M. Sengottaiyan.

Apparently, Venkat Prabhu’s character in Kalavu is said to have a comic touch and is expected to be close to a real kind of cop. The shoot of Kalavu is said to have been wrapped yesterday (May 30th) and post-production work is expected to start shortly.
