Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's next with Manoj Kumar Natarajan titled Velvet Nagaram has a good amount of expectation among the audience. Varalaxmi is known for portraying unique roles, her character in this film seems to have a good level of anticipation.

Rajamani of Goli Soda 2 is composing the music while Bhagath Kumar takes care of the cinematography and Raymond Derrick Crasta handles the cuts. The first look for the film was well received and the makers have now released the teaser for the film.
