HEROINE'S SON AND CHENNAI-BASED DOCTOR PASSES AWAY; FANS IN SHOCK

As per reports, Karthik suffered a cardiac arrest in his sleep and was found dead by family members in the morning at his Chengalpattu residence. His mortal remains were brought to the actress’s Chennai residence. The last rites are to be performed today (May 23).

He was a doctor and a sports physician by profession. Vanisri was a popular star in her heydays and quit cinema to attend to familial duties. Later, she was also seen in supporting roles.

She made her comeback to Telugu cinema with the 2004 film Bhadradri Ramudu and was most recently seen in Telugu soap Prem Nagar, which debuted last year.
