Tauktae, which formed in the Arabian Sea near Lakshadweep Islands, crossed the coast of Gujarat on Monday. The cyclone has caused severe damage in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Buildings and roads along the coast were damaged. It crossed the coast at 175 km/ hr which caused numerous trees and power poles to collapse.

More than 50 people, so far, were killed in the storm. TV actress Deepika Singh has posed for a photo-shoot among the trees uprooted by the storm and shared these photos on social media. Netizens have strongly condemned this 'stunt' of the actress.
