Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsKeerthi Pandian, the daughter of veteran actor-producer Arun Pandian, recently impressed critics and audience with her performance in 'Anbirkiniyal', the tamil remake of Malayalam hit 'Helen' (2019) starring Anna Ben in the lead role.
Yesterday, (August 15) she took to her Instagram page and announced that her new movie is set to be released soon and released its first look poster. Titled 'Kannagi', the poster featured the young actress playing a pregnant woman. Wearing a red skirt and a blouse amidst a dilapidated building, she looked concerned and scared as a man was seen lighting up the rope that led to her belly.
The poster has been receiving applause from fans who predict that the movie may deal with a social cause. "Given a huge piece of me to this film," wrote Keerthi in the caption. The movie is in its final stages.

Directed by Shalini, the cinematography is by Ramji and the music is scored by Shaan Rahman. The movie is produced by M Ganesh and J Dhanush.
Apart from Keerthi Pandian, the movie features Ammu Abhirami, Vidya Pradeep, Adeshwar and Vettri in pivotal roles.
