Actor Arun Vijay has signed up for a major number of projects down the pipeline, and one of them is the much awaited 'Mafia', which will be helmed by Karthick Naren of 'Dhuruvangal Padhinaaru' fame. The director's second film, Naragasooran, is awaiting for a release.
The first look of the poster was launched by the official Twitter account of Lyca Productions, the film's production company. The first look featured a suave, sharp-suited Arun Vijay in a stylish avatar. Mafia also stars actor Prasanna in an important role.

The female lead of the film is played by Priya Bhavani Shankar. On the technical front, Mafia is shot by 'Monster' fame lensman Gokul Benoy and features music composed by Jakes Bejoy. The film is edited by Sreejith Sarang. The film's shooting will commence on July 6.
Apart from Mafia, Arun Vijay will also be seen playing the role of a pugilist in Boxer and will be playing the role of antagonist in the Sujeeth-directed Saaho. The actor is also playing one of the central characters in 'Moodar Koodam' Naveen's Agni Siragugal.
