VIJAY'S 'MASTER' CREATES HISTORY; BEATS DARBAR AND SARKAR RECORDS IN THIS - DETAILS!

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also features Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Prem, Sanjeev, Sriman, Shanthnu, Arjun Das, Anitha Sampath, Gouri G Kishan amongst others in pivotal roles.

Jointly produced by XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Studio, the film initially faced a lot of hurdles in order to release it in the big screens. However, the makers made it a point only to release in theatres other than opting for the OTT platform.

Now, the film which has not only released in Tamil Nadu but also other states simultaneously, has created records with its sensational opening day in Kerala. Yes, the all-time City Record shows of the state for Master on Day 1 beat the previous records of Darbar (337 shows) and Sarkar (336 shows). Master was screened in 25 theatres in 71 screens and 374 total number of shows only on Day 1 - Woah!
