THALA AJITH'S CELEBRATED FILM COMPLETES 20 YEARS: "AN ALL-TIME FAVOURITE"

Amidst Valimai shoot, Ajith's yesteryear film Mugavaree marks twenty years of it's release. The film marked the directorial debut of writer-director V.Z. Thorai, who went on to direct films such as Thotti Jaya, Nepali and the recent Iruttu.

Legendary cinematographer and lensman of Mugavaree, PC Sreeram tweeted about the film, saying that the film is memorable due to the director's screenplay and the cast's performances, and Mugavaree is still fresh within social media circles.

A Deva musical, Mugavaree dealt with the struggles of an upcoming musician and the film starred Ajith and Jyothika in lead roles while Raghuvaran, K. Viswanath played memorable supporting roles.
