Valimai marks the actor-director duo's second project under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner post the 2019 courtroom drama Nerkonda Paarvai. The film has also retained the music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and DOP Nirav Shah for this upcoming flick.

Yuvan Shankar had been sharing mass updates from the film and during a Clubhouse talk, he had shared that the first INTRO song from the film will be stunning as ever and is expected to be of a folk genre and a mother-sentiment song can also be expected in the film.

Now, Valimai has become the first Indian movie to set a latest massive record of crossing more than 1 million+ interests in Book My Show (online movie ticketing). It must be noted that fans are still waiting for an official update from the film.
