"CINEMA AT ITS BEST.."- POPULAR SUPERSTAR PRAISES DHANUSH'S ASURAN

Taking to his official Twitter account, the 'Bharat Ane Nenu' actor complimented the realistic and raw nature of the film and added a line 'Cinema at its best' to sum up his thoughts.

Adapted from the novel Vekkai by Poomani, Asuran is shot by Vetri Maaran's regular collaborator Velraj while R. Ramar handled the editing department. The film featured songs and background score composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.

Post Asuran, Vetri Maaran has signed up for a project that will be produced by Elred Kumar under the banner RS Infotainment. The film is said to be an adaptation of lyricist late Na. Muthukumar's poem and features Soori in the lead.
