Now director GNR Kumaravelan has taken to his social media to announce a heart-breaking news of the untimely demise of his father, G. N. Rangarajan who also was a popular filmmaker and had worked with Kamal Haasan and Sridevi in Kalyanaraman, Meendum Kokila to name a few!

Director GNR Kumaravelan shared a pic of his father and broke the news to his fans and followers, “My Father, my mentor, my love ... passed away today morning around 8.45 am. Need all your prayers to keep my family in strength.”
