SURIYA'S REVEALS AN IMPORTANT SOORARAI POTTRU HIGHLIGHT: "HE IS MY GODFATHER IN THE FILM.."

Sung by Harish Sivaramakrishnan, the romantic number is written by Vivek while GV Prakash Kumar composes the film. Suriya gave a speech during the event and started by thanking the staff of Chennai Airport for enabling the event to happen at this venue.

Suriya also said that Soorarai Pottru is a tribute to aviation industry veteran and founder of low-cost airline company Air Deccan, G.R. Gopinath "There used to be a time where less than one percent of the country's population could afford airline services. But Gopinath sir changed this by introducing ticket rates at just one rupee at that time."

Suriya also praised Sudha Kongara "Sudha has poured in over ten years of her hard work into this film. She deserves all the credit for Soorarai Pottru." Suriya also remarked that working with Telugu star Mohan Babu in the film was indeed a pleasure.

"A single man cannot pull a chariot and it requires a strong person like Mohan Babu to do that. He is like a godfather to me in the film. The (combination scenes) involving me and him will be highlight in the film.
