Suriya’s Si3 director Hari talks about piracy

Post K.E Gnanavel Raja’s speech about Tamil Rockers and piracy in general, it’s now director Hari who is all excited about his Si3 starring Suriya. Setting aside the excitement, in an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, he shared his views on the piracy issue. This is what he had to say:

Audiences themselves won’t like watching the movies we make on Thiruttu VCD or online pirated channels. A lot of hard work goes into making a film and over 1000 people get affected whenever one movie collapses. What are these people who resort to piracy angry about? They are directly affecting the producers who make the industry run. Piracy will only make the industry sick. I request you all to not support piracy and I affectionately ask you to stop hurting us technicians. We work for 18-20 hours. This is against the labour rule! But, we in the creative industry, enjoy our work and toil for days together. When our film is killed it hurts and blood is the same for everyone. Both your lives and ours should be nice and we should not harm anyone by spoiling other's lives. We are your cooks, so, stop throwing stones at us. We cater only to your happiness and that is our happiness. Please watch movies only in theatres and support us.
