Surya fans are very happy with this announcement. At the 78th Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles in January 2021, Surya's role as Nedumaran is expected to attract screen lovers worldwide.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film released for Deepavali and received rave reviews. The film, which released on Amazon Prime, also starred Aparna Balamurali, Karunas, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal and Kali Venkat in pivotal roles.

The song video and making videos of the film have been released and are captivating the fans. It recently boasted of being the second most used image in 2020 Twitter trends. Following this, the film is currently ranked second in India in Google search.

Surya will next focus on Surya 40, which will be directed by Pandiraj. Preliminary work on the film, to be produced by Sun Pictures, is in full swing. Following that, Surya will act in Vetrimaaran’s Vadivasal. GV Prakash is composing the music for this film which is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu.
