NGK is actor Suriya's latest film after Vignesh ShivN's Thaana Serntha Kootam that came out last year. It has Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh playing the female leads. Actors Bala Singh, Ponvannan, Uma Padmanabhan and others play crucial supporting roles.
The film is directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures, in association with Reliance Entertainment. The film hit the screens worldwide on May 31.
While it had a good opening in Chennai by collecting more than 1 crore, it has done extremely well in Kerala too, by grossing around 1.4 crores on the first day itself. The film is running in 187 theatres, while 206 screens have been granted.
NGK has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan and editing by Praveen KL. Suriya will be next seen in Kaappaan alongside Mohanlal, Arya, and Sayyeshaa. Kaappaan is directed by KV Anand, and is releasing on 31st August. Stay tuned for more updates.
