HERE'S THE DOPE ON SURIYA 40; SHOOTING SET TO START ON THIS DATE

Suriya is joining hands with director Pandiraj for a feature that is being tentatively referred to as 'Suriya 40' which is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The latest update we have on the film is that shooting commences from February 15. The film is touted to be a rural action drama.

Suriya was last seen in Soorarai Pottru that was helmed by Sudha Kongara. The film was well-received by everyone for its powerful screenplay which is based on former Army captain and Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath’s book “Simply Fly”.

Suriya 40 shooting to begin from February 15 Pandiraj

Suriya is also playing the lead in Vaadivaasal, directed by Vetrimaaran and bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thaanu's V Creations. He is also part of the Netflix anthology film - Navarasa. His segment will be directed by Gautham Menon. The proceeds from this project will go towards supporting about 10,000 of the industry workers.
