On the technical front, Darbar boasts music by Anirudh and editing by Sreekar Prasad, while ace DOP Santhosh Sivan has cranked the camera for the film. And on-screen, leading actors Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Nivetha Thomas, Sunil Shetty, Vivekh and others will apprear in key roles.

The grand audio launch of the film happened with the presence of various prominent personalities, who enlightened the event with their speeches. But the one the fans were looking forward the most was of Superstar Rajinikanth's.'Thalaivar' humbly thanked the producers, the director, and the cast and crew who have been with him through this journey and appreciated each of them individually as he always does. In his speech, he shared a few interesting stories which excited the fans to the next level.

He said the story of how he boarded the train to Tamil Nadu and how he lost the ticket by the time he reached the station. Rajini stated that he was let go by the TTR that day, because of the trust the TTR had on him and his word, and connected it to his guru Balachander."Balachander had the name Rajinikanth for almost four years and wanted to give it to a good actor, and he trusted me to have that, and chose to make films with me as hero," said the Superstar.

He further shared a super-interesting unknown story earlier from his career that a producer commited him to a film and refused to pay him promptly and made him walk out of a shooting spot. "I decided to get a foreign car and come back in front of him and prove myself," said Rajini. He then shared that he did buy the car as he wished in about two years and came back to the same place and stood with pride in front of that producer. Looks like Superstar's real life is just as super and interesting as his reel lives, yeah?
