People across India have been severely affected by the second wave of the coronavirus. The homeless have been struggling for food. Charities have been serving food to them for free. Actress Bharatha Naidu, who is starring in the Thalaatu serial which airs on Sun TV, has been doing all she can to help those affected. She has been feeding people on the roadside and posting the photos on Instagram.

She has been playing the role of Kokila in the serial and has turned towards social service as shooting has been halted. Bharatha married one Bharath in 2020 and was also seen as Mitra in the Sembaruthi serial. She has also been seen in important characters in serials such as Devathayai Kandean and Yaradi Nee Mohani.

Other celebrities like Bharatha have been doing their best to help people. Television actress Saranya Sundarraj has been cooking food for the affected people. Saranya said she was confident that the quality of the food they cooked would not be compromised in any way and that she was doing this with the help of her husband.
